Dorothy’s Grapefruit Farm

On a mountain near Guanyin Mountain Scenic Area, Mr. Lin Jinxing established a farm and planted Bali pomelo, honey peaches and sweet peaches in 1873. He told future generations not to waste the land and to continue showcasing its natural beauty. Today's farm owner returned to the mountains from the hustle and bustle of Taipei and devoted himself to the cultivation of pomelo and peaches, while insisting on never using pesticide on the fruit trees.

The farm was named Taolesi with the hope that peaches will always be grown there. The owner of the farm also learned from the unruffled and courageous spirit of Taolesi about the importance of making friends with different people and humbly seeking advice, while striving for ideals and goals. The objective is to ensure that all visitors can share in the owner's ideals, enjoy the natural scenery and make good memories.
